EKO Spring Symposium 2025 welcomes Canada’s own America’s Got Talent finalist
North Bay native Ahren Belisle has catapulted to some of the biggest stages in comedy in just a few years. Television audiences fell in love with him on American’s Got Talent in 2023, when he became a Top 10 Finalist. He’s been touring and famously roasted celebrities including Post Malone, Shane Gillis, and the roast master himself Jeff Ross, ever since.
The comedian and mental health advocate gave up his work as a software engineer to take to the stage. Ahren, who has cerebral palsy, uses his phone to deliver jokes. With his affable charm and razor sharp wit, audiences give Ahren license to say whatever he wants. Ahren has over a million followers and uses his platform to spread positive messages and comedy.
Ahren joins EKO Spring Symposium 2025 delegates, helping to kick off the event and setting the tone for the Symposium’s popular (and noisy) Schmooza Palooza speed networking.
A word to the wise: Don’t heckle Ahren—unless you want to be a comedian, too. That’s how he got his start!
