Check in is 3:00 p.m.

Are there accessible bathrooms?

On the Second level the restrooms near the Provincial Ballroom have power assisted doors and an accessible stall, the closest fully accessible washroom is located on the second floor near the Dominion ballroom.

Can I wear a mask at the event?

Masking is optional at the EKO Spring Symposium 2025, although the event is mask-friendly. Masks along with hand sanitizer stations will be available at locations throughout the event spaces.

How much do tickets cost?

The registration rate is $950 (EKO member rate) or $1,150 (non-member rate). Presenters receive a 10% discount on both rates. We are also offering a student rate at $400.

Registration for the EKO Spring Symposium includes access to the Advance Keynote, which takes place virtually two weeks before the in-person program. This year we’re offering guest tickets to this virtual component and the cost of the guest ticket is $125. This cost is only for those who are not registered to attend the in-person program.

Will the program be livestreamed?

The in-person event is not being live streamed. The Advance Keynote is an Online Session; only those registered or with a guest ticket can access this event.

Will there be recordings?

No, this event will be in person only. However, you can review the featured Poster Presentations on the Conference App when it becomes available in 2025.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your registration for the EKO Spring Symposium 2025, you must do so in writing by sending us an email to EKOSymposium@andlogistix.com. Cancellation requests will not be accepted by any other means. A 13% administrative fee will be applied for all refunds.

Cancellation requests must be received no later than Friday March 14, 2025 to be eligible for a refund.

I've already registered and want to purchase guest tickets for the Advance Keynote. How do I do this?

If you have indicated on the registration form that you would like to purchase guest tickets for the Advance Keynote session, a link to purchase guest tickets will be available in your confirmation letter coming from EKOSpringSymposium@andlogistix.com. Simply follow the link provided to select and purchase the guest tickets you need. Please check your spam folder if you don’t see your confirmation letter in your inbox.

I'm planning to join the tour of the new Grandview Kids. Is transportation provided?

EKO Spring Symposium 2025 delegates joining the tour are responsible for their transportation.

The New Grandview Kids, the Jerry Coughlan Building, is located at 1461 Harwood Ave N, Ajax, Ontario L1T 4T9.

Here’s how to get there: Visitors can take the Go Train to from Union Station and disembark at Ajax Station (53 minutes), then hop a short Uber or taxi ride to the New Grandview Kids.

Is there a student rate for registration?

Yes! EKO is excited to welcome students to the EKO Spring Symposium 2025. We’re offering a special Student registration rate of $400.

There were no more rooms available at the Sheraton Toronto Centre. Are there other recommended hotels nearby?

Please contact the EKO Spring Symposium Office at 416-651-3531 or EKOSymposium@andlogistix.com to check if there are any other rooms available. If needed, a list of recommended nearby hotels will be sent to you.

Are meals included with the registration?

Yes. We kick off our in-person program with breakfast on April 16th. We are also providing lunch, and that evening there is the Opening Night Reception. On Thursday April 17th the program includes breakfast and lunch, just before our closing keynote address.
