Since 1977 Quinte Children’s Treatment Centre has provided a range of child development and rehabilitation services for children and youth with special needs, and their families, residing in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. We strive to provide equitable, family-centred care which places the voices of children, youth, and families at the centre of their planning. A key framework used is the F Words for child development: https://canchild.ca/en/research-in-practice/f-words-in-childhood-disability.Quinte Children’s Treatment Centre services include Coordinated Service Planning, social-emotional-behavioural support, FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) workers, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, social work, psychometry and medical services for children and youth with multiple special needs.
