November 18, 2024
In April 2025, hundreds of clinicians, leaders, researchers, students and trainees, and stakeholders will gather in Toronto for the EKO Spring Symposium 2025.
Registration is now open!
Every two years, EKO hosts this pinnacle event for the developmental health sector and the largest gathering of professionals, students, and stakeholders from Ontario and across Canada.
“We’re excited to welcome colleagues, students and trainees, researchers and leaders from across Ontario and Canada to Toronto,” says Jennifer Churchill, EKO President & CEO. “The EKO Spring Symposium 2025 offers a personalized experience designed to elevate professional practice, forge connections, build new and collaborative relationships, and inspire with dynamic ideas.”
The program has become known for leading edge keynote speakers, presenters, and opportunities that provoke new thinking, celebrate changemakers, forge collaborations, and build networks.
This is an important time in children’s healthcare, and for everyone involved who connects with developmental health. Almost 30 per cent of Ontario kids begin school with a developmental need that can affect their lifelong health, learning and behaviour. “It’s imperative that emerging practice accelerates, along with the core fundamentals of treatment, engagement, research, and knowledge translation,” says Churchill.
The EKO Spring Symposium looks at technology, science, and novel approaches that inform how we organize and deliver developmental healthcare, so kids with disabilities and developmental needs and their families can live their best lives.
