Thousands of kids are waiting for care—a crisis that pre-existed and has been magnified by the COVID pandemic. More kids than ever are struggling with developmental gaps, and trauma too—taking the need for services to an extraordinary new level. Novel solutions are required—we need to think differently about how we deliver care.

Dr. Ablon’s work offers a paradigm shift in understanding why so many kids are struggling that combines neuroscience, compassion and common sense. His evidence-based approach provides not only a guiding philosophy but actionable tools that have been shown to reduce conflict and stress while improving relationships and helping youth build the skills they need to succeed.

Ablon has trained clinicians, parents and educators around the world in the Collaborative Problem Solving approach which has been shown to reduce behavioural challenges, conflict and stress while improving relationships and building skills.

The EKO Spring Symposium 2023 is the forum for leading minds in child development and pediatric rehabilitation and all those dedicated to kids with disabilities living their best lives. The event will elevate professional practice, connect colleagues, build new and collaborative partnerships, and inspire with dynamic ideas.
