EKO Spring Symposium 2020 Launches Call for Presentations and Posters

January 06, 2020

The call for presentations and call for posters for the inaugural EKO Spring Symposium is now open.

Child development and rehabilitation professionals, stakeholders, leaders and partners are invited to apply to speak at the event, which is expected to attract several hundred participants from Ontario and across Canada. The EKO Spring Symposium is a perfect opportunity for speakers to share their knowledge and raise their profile in the sector.

The two-day program will feature plenary and concurrent sessions covering a variety of topics that demonstrate the impact of innovation, best practices, evidence-informed research, trends, data-driven decision-making and collaborative partnerships in child development.

“We’re particularly keen to receive presentation submissions that explain and give context to the latest trends, research, and applications,” says Empowered Kids Ontario CEO Jennifer Churchill. “We’re also interested in presentations about transitions, the future of technology in health and social care, lived experiences, sector and cross-sectoral partnerships, and fresh angles on long-term challenges in the field of child development and neurodevelopmental disorders. If you are a knowledgeable, engaging speaker, we’d love to hear from you.”

Prospective speakers and poster presenters can submit via the Call for Presentations and Call for Posters before the deadline of Friday, January 24, 2020.

The EKO Spring Symposium will take place March 30 & 31 in Toronto. Registration opens February 7, 2020.
