Children’s Health Coalition colleagues discuss Make Kids Count

November 06, 2023

We have long said that with the right interventions and the right supports at the right time, we can make a huge difference for kids with health care needs. Wait too long, and the challenges get more complicated, more difficult and more expensive.

In July, the Ontario government responded to the Children’s Health Coalition’s Make Kids Count call for action, with an annual investment of $330 million across the continuum of children’s health—acting now to improve children’s developmental, physical and mental health and well-being.

EKO CEO Jennifer Churchill joined our Children’s Health Coalition CEOs (including several EKO members) for a Longwoods Breakfast Series discussion about this investment, the road ahead and why this matters for kids, families and communities across Ontario.
