Call for Presentations and Posters Now Open for EKO Spring Symposium 2023

EKO invites submissions of abstracts for presentations and posters at the 2023 EKO Spring Symposium, taking place in Toronto, April 12 & 13.

EKO’s annual conference and flagship event—the EKO Spring Symposium—has been successful year after year thanks to the commitment and dedication of the child development and pediatric rehabilitation community. The Spring Symposium 2023 is a great opportunity to share your work, experiences, ideas and innovations with colleagues from across Ontario and Canada.

Tell us about an initiative, project or program and how it contributes to and creates positive change so kids with disabilities and their families live their best lives. Transform your research, innovations, best practices and great ideas into a presentation or poster at the 2023 EKO Spring Symposium. If you have a topic of interest or success story to share that will spark the imagination, encourage dialogue, drive solutions to challenges in service delivery and operations, and push boundaries for research questions—we want to hear from you!

Students and trainees, families, youth and professionals alike are all encouraged to submit abstracts; individual and team submissions are welcome.

Dedicated time to view posters and converse with poster presenters will be scheduled on both days of the program. Presentation sessions are 60 minutes, and can follow formats including lectures, panel discussions, workshops, fireside chats, roundtables, Q&A, and campfire sessions. Family First conversations, co-facilitated by a youth or family member with a service provider or researcher, address important topics that affect their lives and experience with services.
