Empowered Kids Ontario represents Ontario’s publicly-supported child development and rehabilitation agencies, which provide services and programs to more than 150,000 kids and their families every year, at home, in schools and in the community. EKO members care for kids with childhood disabilities; kids with developmental disabilities—physical, cognitive and communication; kids who are recovering from illness or injury; and kids with complex care needs including cerebral palsy, autism, FASD, and Down syndrome and other neurodisabilities. EKO is a founding member of the Children’s Health Coalition, a collective of eight leading Ontario children’s health organizations, representing expertise in pediatric health care and research, and delivering every kind of care a child could need.
The EKO Spring Symposium 2023 promotes the latest evidence and experts who bring attention to opportunities and issues as Ontario’s child development and rehabilitation professionals and partners inform practice, forge innovations, explore creative partnerships, and celebrate advances in services for kids with disabilities, their families and their communities.
Participants represent disciplines in child development, health care, the academic and the not-for-profit sectors, families and youth, and come together to provide leadership so kids with disabilities and their families live their best lives.
EKO’s Spring Symposium is a leading event in the child development and pediatric rehabilitation space, offering partners outstanding opportunities to be seen and heard.
The EKO Spring Symposium will draw more than 200 delegates from Ontario and beyond, including researchers, clinicians, leaders, youth, families, and policy experts representing academic institutions, broader public sector agencies, hospitals, government, community organizations and advocates.
As a partner of EKO’s Spring Symposium 2023, your messaging, influence and branding will reach and resonate with our provincial and national audience.
EKO and the EKO Spring Symposium 2023 would not be effective without the support of our dedicated partners.
