Who is Eligible?

 

The Empowered Kids Ontario Scholarship is open to those who have received services and/or supports from one of Ontario’s 21 Children’s Treatment Centres, and who are applicants at or attending an accredited post-secondary institution or career training program that involves a tuition fee in fall 2019.

Applicants must be a:

  • Canadian citizen
  • Permanent resident/landed immigrant
  • Convention refugee
  • Protected person living in Canada, as defined in the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Through the application process candidates must demonstrate exceptional leadership in their community or in school.

Candidates may apply as often as they wish, however they may only receive the EKO Scholarship one time.

Previous recipients of this scholarship are not eligible.
